Please read these terms before using FinMan. They explain what FinMan does, what it doesn't do, and the responsibilities that come with keeping your financial records here.

01About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Aprillium ([Registered address]), which operates FinMan. By creating an account or using FinMan, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

02Your account

You need an account to use FinMan. Keep your password private, and turn on two-step sign-in (under Account & security) for extra protection. You are responsible for what happens in your account and in workspaces you share with others.

03No financial advice

FinMan is a tool for recording and understanding your own money. Its summaries, health checks, runway and trend estimates, investment returns (XIRR), budgets, goals and lending scores are calculations on the data you provide. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, sell, lend or borrow anything. Consider speaking to a qualified adviser before making financial decisions.

04Accuracy of data and calculations

Your figures come from what you enter and the statements you import. Imports are read automatically and may occasionally misread a line, and every calculation depends on the data behind it. Check important figures against your bank's official statements. FinMan never moves money and does not connect to your bank login.

05Market data and third-party content

FinMan does not currently supply live market prices: investment values are the ones you enter. If market data or other third-party content is offered in future, it will be provided for your personal use only and may be delayed or inaccurate.

Market-data licensing restrictions: personal, non-commercial use only; no redistribution, resale, scraping or derived products; data-provider terms that pass through to users; no warranty of timeliness or accuracy; attribution requirements.

06Lending between users

The Lending feature lets people record loans between themselves. FinMan keeps the record and a repayment history; it is not a lender, borrower, broker, guarantor or collector, and money never passes through FinMan. Lending scores reflect repayment records on FinManonly and are not a credit rating.

07Acceptable use

Use FinMan lawfully and only with data you have the right to use. Don't try to break its security, access other people's workspaces, overload it, or copy it with automated tools.

Prohibited conduct (unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering, security testing without permission, scraping, reverse engineering, uploading malware or data without a lawful basis) and the consequences of breach.

08Your data

Your financial records belong to you. You can export your transactions at any time. We use your data only to run FinMan for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

09Your responsibilities and liability

User liability and indemnity: responsibility for decisions made using FinMan, for the accuracy and lawfulness of uploaded data, for actions of people invited to shared workspaces, and indemnity for claims arising from misuse.

10Availability, changes and ending your account

We work to keep FinMan available and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted. You can stop using FinMan at any time.
