Choose "Create account" and sign up with your email address and a password of at least 10 characters, or continue with Google. You'll then create your first workspace: one for yourself, or one for a family or organisation.
Use "Forgot password?" on the sign-in page. We'll email a link that works once and expires after 30 minutes. Setting a new password signs you out on every other device.
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose "Your profile". Your picture is cropped square and stripped of hidden details like location, and only people in your workspaces can see it.
Yes. On Transactions, use Export to download every transaction that matches your filters as CSV or Excel. Reports can also be printed, saved as PDF or downloaded as Excel.
Email support@aprillium.com from the address on your account and we'll delete your account and its data. Export anything you want to keep first.
Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as Argon2id hashes, sign-in tokens live in httpOnly cookies that page scripts can't read, and two-step sign-in secrets are stored encrypted. Each workspace is isolated and protected by roles, and data is backed up daily.
The Privacy Policy has the details.
Open the account menu, choose "Account & security", then "Set up two-step sign-in". Scan the QR code with an authenticator app and keep your recovery codes somewhere safe: each works once if you lose your phone.
No. FinMan never asks for your bank password and never moves money. You add transactions yourself or import statements you download from your bank or payment app.
No. FinMan has no advertising or tracking cookies, and your financial data is used only to run FinMan for you. The few services we rely on, such as email delivery, are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Change your password straight away under "Account & security"; that signs out every other device. Then turn on two-step sign-in and email support@aprillium.com so we can help.
Not yet. FinMan doesn't pull live market prices: you record what you put in and update a holding's current value yourself. Nothing is sent to a market-data provider.
FinMan shows a simple return and XIRR. XIRR is the yearly return that allows for when each amount went in or came out, which makes it the fair way to compare investments with irregular contributions. It uses the trades and values you enter.
Each workspace has a base currency for its totals. Accounts and holdings in other currencies are shown in their own currency but not added to the totals, because FinMan doesn't convert at live exchange rates.
CSV or Excel files from net banking, and Google Pay or Jupiter / Federal Bank PDF statements as they are (up to 20 MB). Google Pay, PhonePe and Jupiter payments also appear in the statement of the bank account they use. A blank and a filled spreadsheet template are on the Import page, and re-importing the same file is safe: duplicates are skipped.
Yes. Creating an account and using FinMan is free today. If paid plans are introduced, we'll announce them in advance and you'll never be charged without choosing a plan yourself.
No. FinMan tracks bills, subscriptions and EMIs and reminds you before they're due, but payments are made through your bank or payment app as usual.
No. Lending keeps an agreed record of a loan and its repayments between two people. The money itself moves between you directly, outside FinMan.
